Casting software for casting directors and offices

A casting office doesn't need an agency website. It needs a well-kept database and lists it can share in a minute, and that's what your office gets as its own space in CastTool.

What your office gets

Talent database
Your own database, kept apart from every other tenant. You decide who's in it.
Castings
One casting per project, with the right talent, notes and status.
Shortlists by link
Clients and directors open a list from a link, no account needed. The link stays out of search engines.
No public site required
You can work without any website at all, and add one later if you want it.
Marketplace
Casting directors will be able to search approved models across agencies. It opens once enough agencies have joined and the legal review is done.

How a casting runs

  1. Create the casting

Name the project and note the brief.

  2. Pick your talent

Filter your database and add people to the list.

  3. Share the shortlist

Send the link to your client or director and wait for feedback.

Common questions

Can agencies see my database?

No. Your office is a separate tenant, and the database itself enforces that separation.

Do clients need to log in?

No. A shortlist opens from a link. Clients who want lasting lists can use a client account on an agency's site.

Is the marketplace open yet?

Not yet. It needs enough agencies on board. Taking part is opt-in twice over: both the agency and the model agree, and minors are technically excluded.
